Concordia International Corp.  (“Concordia”), together with its affiliates and subsidiaries, is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you a powerful and safe online experience. This Privacy Statement applies to all Concordia websites (the “Websites”) and governs Personal Information collection, usage and disclosure through the Websites. By using a Concordia Website, you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Statement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, as of the Last Updated date (June 8, 2015), only Concordia collects, uses and discloses Personal Information through the Websites.

Collection of your Personal Information

Concordia generally collects business contact information through the Websites, such as your name, title, work e-mail address, work address or work telephone number. However, Concordia may also collect personally identifiable information through the Websites (as collected through the Website(s), “Personal Information”), such as your home e-mail address, home address or home telephone number, for the purposes to which you consent at the point of collecting your Personal Information, and to which you may later consent (the “Purposes”).

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Concordia. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Website addresses. Concordia uses this information for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of a Website.

Privacy and Third-Party Links

This Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected by the Websites. In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third-party links on our Websites. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Concordia has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these third-party linked sites. Nonetheless, Concordia seeks to protect the integrity of our Websites and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Use of your Personal Information

Concordia collects and uses your Personal Information for the Purposes. These purposes may include the distribution of press releases, financial reports and other updates regarding Concordia and its affiliates, which you have requested.

Disclosure of your Personal Information

Concordia does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. In addition, Concordia may transfer data to its entities and trusted third party service providers to help Concordia perform statistical analyses, and send you mail (electronic and/or written), in each case for the Purposes. All such third parties are prohibited from using your Personal Information except to provide these services on behalf of Concordia, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Concordia does not disclose your Personal Information to third parties except to the extent that you consent to such disclosure, or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

Use of Cookies

The Websites use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide information to Concordia about returning traffic to the Websites in order to improve the website experience using Google analytics or other analytics software. However, Concordia does not collect your Personal Information using cookies.

Security of your Personal Information

Concordia maintains practices and procedures designed to keep your Personal Information secure and confidential. We use generally accepted industry security standards to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and correctly use Personal Information. However, no commercial method of information transfer over the Internet or electronic data storage is known to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage in our systems. We restrict and limit access to customer Personal Information only to those of our employees or authorized service providers who need it to carry out their business functions for Concordia, and our employees understand their requirement to safeguard customer Personal Information and prevent its unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. We also require each of our authorized service providers who need such information for the Purposes to safeguard against such unauthorized access, disclosure or use.

Commitment to Children’s Privacy

To protect children’s Personal Information and to meet the standards of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 13. The Websites are general audience websites and are not geared toward children.

In addition, we do not collect any Personal Information from anyone who we know to be under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you should use these Websites only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and should not submit any Personal Information to us.

Customer Responsibilities

If one of the Websites requires a login name and password, you are responsible for the security of your login and passwords. Make sure you keep them in a safe place and do not share them with others. Always remember to logout after your session ends to ensure that other people cannot access your account information.

Consent to Processing of Information in the United States

Notwithstanding your country of origin, or country, state and/or province of residence, by utilizing our site, you hereby agree to and acknowledge that your personal data may be transferred to, or processed or used in the United States and/or in other jurisdictions as determined by us.

Opting Out of Receiving News Updates From Concordia

If you would no longer like to receive e-mailed news updates or other messages from Concordia, you may unsubscribe or contact us at and request that your e-mail address be removed from our email list. An unsubscribe link is included with all outbound email communication from Concordia and can be used to unsubscribe to outbound email communications from Concordia.

Your California Privacy Rights

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide Personal Information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once per calendar year, information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2015 will receive information regarding 2014 sharing activities). To obtain this information from Concordia, please send an email message to with “Request for California Privacy Information” on the subject line and in the body of your message. Concordia will provide the requested information to you at your e-mail address in response. Not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

The Site does not respond to “do not track” requests.

Right to Transfer

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth in this Privacy Statement, Concordia reserves the right to disclose and/or transfer your Personal Information to a third party in connection with a proposed or actual purchase, sale, merger, or any other type of acquisition or financing of all or any portion of Concordia.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

Concordia may update this Privacy Statement to reflect company and customer feedback. As changes are approved, Concordia posts the revised Privacy Statement on the Websites, noting the date of revision.
